The truth is, our democracy isn’t broken — it’s been bought. And while my incumbent opponent is a multi-millionaire with deep-pocketed donors and corporate interests backing his every move, I’m building something different: a movement powered by real people, not PACs.
I don’t come from money. I come from the military community, from rural Oklahoma, from the working class. Every gas station snack I buy on the road to another town hall, every hotel I stay in after a long night connecting with voters — it’s paid for by donations from people who believe we deserve a Senate that reflects us, not the rich and powerful.
The system is rigged when money speaks louder than people. That’s why I support overturning Citizens United, passing strong campaign finance reform, and ensuring public financing options for candidates who serve people, not profits. Because no one should have to be a millionaire — or backed by one — to have a seat at the table.
Grassroots movements like ours are the heartbeat of democracy. And together, we’re proving that people power can still beat big money — but only if we all stand up and speak out.
